nice photo of palin that displays the continuing effort of the (objective) msm to demonize her.

Shockwaver….she’s gorgeous and I hope she matures politically and moves forward.

Good ole Associated Press…you can count on them to come down on the far-left. I never believe anything I read in the AP…people are wising up.

    O. Tony,
Don’t you find it interesting that these liberal enunchs are even intimidated of Palin’s beauty… :)

Palin had a great interview with Fox’s Chris Wallace today…she answered all of his questions except who she would support for president in 2012. She would not say whether she would run and left it open to whatever the future brings. Unlike most politicians, she was incredibly upfront about everything he asked her…which was refreshing.

She also apparently has a contingent of Wash. DC advisors who she is talking to on a daily basis…let’s hope one of them is Krauthammer….I bet one is V. Pres. Cheney on protecting the US from terrorism.

    Palin is learning and fast!

    What a shock.

Palin goes to her facebook page to have a pop at Rahm Emmanuel for a comment made over a year ago in a private meeting and calls for his sacking.

David Carney, the political consultant to sepretist Texas Governor Rick Perry uses the word and Palin’s spokesperson mearly calls it “disrespectful” with no request for any firings.

“Musician” Ted Nugent has also used the word “retarded” in a way some might find offensive. Nugent is scheduled to play the national anthem at Sunday’s Perry/Palin event. No calls for him to be replaced.

    http://startelegram.typepad.com/politex/2010/02/perry-camp-use-of-r-word-draws-spotlight-on-palin-support.html

The racist, obese, mysoginistic, thrice-divorced, sex holidaying, half deaf drug addict regularly uses the same word on his live radio show. Palin defended Limbaugh’s use of “retards” as “satire.” Which it wasn’t — unless I’m missing the humor in calling a meeting of advocates for the mentally handicapped “a retard summit.”

This proves once again that when it comes to Limbaugh conservatives are far too busy falling on their knees and kissing his ring, and the one on his finger, as well as bashing democrats for action they themselves do.

Oh. and l forgot to add, l csn see all the posts here questioning the use of cliff notes over a telepromptor, something the Wasilla Quitter usually uses herself:

    http://www.oliverwillis.com/2010/02/06/sarah-palin-caught-reading-her-speech-off-her-hand/

But the cult of Palin is strong here.

Would she fare well in front of a non supportive audience without the pre-approved questions?

As she cannot remember the answers without writing the talking points on her hands that seems doubtful.

Another right wing/ teabagger media darling, Charles Dyer:

    http://www.jackandjillpolitics.com/2010/01/fox-news-and-the-tea-party-child-raping-terrorist/

Imagine If an Arab or Islamic person with military training, who referred to himself as a terrorist and made several videos calling for the downfall of the U.S. government, was charged with raping a 7 year old? Can you imagine the uproar the Fox News would make? Now imagine that police found a grenade launcher in his house, connections to explosives dealers and bomb sniffing dogs determined that he was storing explosives. What if he said he joined the military for “training and (to) become one of those domestic terrorists that you’re so afraid of from the DHS reports.”

Dyer posts under the alias of “July4Patriot” and at the moment there is one of the most massive internet cleansings in history going on as Oathkeeper, Militia and Teabagger websites are searching for the hundreds of entries “July4Patriot” had made. Dyer’s following among domestic “resistance” and “militia” movements may number in the tens of thousands.

Before anyone tries the usual Dyer is accused and not convicted, but that hasn’t stopped any here doing the same with others who are on the left.

You could always go back to the tried and tested when the DHS report came out or claim the “he’s just a single nutter” defence as you did with the guy from the Holocaust Museum or the murderer of George Tiller.

    Israel

    Re Dyer: So?

Re Palin: So you are going to criticise her for four words written on her hand whilst Obama needs the whole speech on the teleprompter? So much so that when the teleprompter goes wrong, Obama is left stuttering “ums”. The left’s attempts to discredit her are laughable beyond belief. What a joke they are.

    Hi all

Sorry I haven’t been available this weekend but have been very busy. I haven’t even had time to watch the Palin speech yet. Hope to get caught up soon.

in my view, someone using a derogatory term is not a firing offense. i know you disagree.

we are adding “bad words” to the english language at too fast a pace for my taste.

i heard limbaugh. he was mocking immanuel and it was satire.

i can find lots of faults with palin and have expressed some of them here. however, your criticism of palin is illogical and does not convince anyone of anything (about her).

    cabbie
posted a link to a conservativecabbie posting on freerepublic on sunday afternoon. did it generate any extra traffic on your blog?

if so, maybe this is a way to make your blog a little more well known. next time you write one of your masterpieces you should try it.
    cheers

Thanks for the effort. It looks like 6 extra visits yesterday outside the ordinary wih none spending anytime on the site. I’m starting to do a rethink of the site at the moment; I’m not happy with my work here (part of the reason for my drop in posts and marketing the blog will be part of that rethink. Thankyou anyway.

I still believe that Palin is a weak link to winning in 2012…unless she runs again as a VP. She has the support of a lot of the right’s base but we’ll need more than that to get rid of the Messiah.

When I see what has happened in just one year under Obama, I shudder to think of what will happen in the next three years…or, God help us…seven more years. We need a very strong leader with a good financial, business background like Romney. What an incredible financial mess the next president will have to contend with, and he will need to be up to the task. Whoever it is, I feel sorry for them. And the US will be in worse shape the longer Obama is in power.

We all make mistakes and missteps…a wise man learns from them. But, Obama is so ego driven, he just continues to plow forward. Recently he said the terrorist trials will probably stay in NY city (now, we know it really was Obama’s idea instead of Holders)and he continues to promote his healthcare bill and cap and trade instead of concentrating on the unemployment rate and fixing the economy.

Obama is many things…but ‘wise’ is not one of them.

    C. Cabbie,

Oh dear, are you thinking about abandoning your blog? I hope not…

I admire someone like Melanie Phillips who has hundreds of bloggers each day…but her continued wailing about the abuse of Jews does get old…I’m beginning to think it is a strong Jewish trait. :) Saying that, I am most supportive of Israel and its safety and the safety of all Jews worldwide. But, gosh, how many times can people continue to talk about the same subject…I now only read what she has to say about American politics…which is my main interest…which brings us back to you. The reason I comment here is I believe that Americans can learn from you Brits, since you are further down the road of socialism.

I don’t know why your blog hasn’t grown faster. You write very well while taking a very reasonable, conservative stance on all subjects. Maybe the pie is being cut into too many small pieces…I notice that lots of blogs have fewer readers/comments than yours.

Cabbie, I think a lot of people go on to other peoples’ blogs to vent or be ‘controversial’ or to show off. Your blog does not give contributors the opportunity to do that because your posts are genuinely thoughtful and are designed to encourage sensible debate.

I agree with An American, one of your best contributors, there may be too many blogs that spread contributors to thinly. There may also be an issue in that you don’t say things that are obvious nonesense and so you don’t get the same reaction as mad Mel.

Do you want to be mad Cabbie?

Here’s something I posted on Melanies this morning in regard to Palin….

No one is perfect and neither is Palin. But she, unlike someone like Obama understands what it is to be an American.

She comes from middle class, hard-working people unlike Obama and all of his elitist socialist cronies.

Palin hasn’t been brainwashed like Obama was by a non-working Communist grandfather and his best friend, a black Communist child molester or a silly flower-child mother that mated with anything that came along that was politically against everything the US stood for.

Palin was raised by a school teacher mother and a school principal father who also fished and hunted to help feed their large family. She married a man who has worked hard labor all of his life on the Alaska oil pipeline and fishes on the off season to bring in more money for the family. She put herself through college, has served on a school board, as the Mayor of her hometown, a successful Governor of Alaska with a 70% approval rating and she helped a lagging McCain political machine…to bad she wasn’t the presidential candidate instead of McCain who none of the conservatives like and many didn’t vote for…the election might have turned out differently.

Palins upbeat, patriotic, intelligent and open-minded.

And because of all of these things, many liberal Americans won’t vote for her…they prefer a Communist elitist who believes he is the Messiah that hates them and the country they live in…go figure.

quote from a lead author of the famous ipcc, nobel-prize winning report.

“The Nobel prize was for peace not science … government employees will use it to negotiate changes and a redistribution of resources. It is not a scientific analysis of climate change,” said Anton Imeson, a former IPCC lead author from the Netherlands. “For the media, the IPCC assessments have become an icon for something they are not. To make sure that it does not happen again, the IPCC should change its name and become part of something else. The IPCC should have never allowed itself to be branded as a scientific organisation. It provides a review of published scientific papers but none of this is much controlled by independent scientists.”

so the truth is starting to come out. they have been exposed for shabby science so their defense is to say — why we don’t do science. we are just into peace (wealth re-distribution.)
