    the senate’s draft healthcare legislation contains a provision to tax some of the employer -purchased health insurance that employees get. notably, of course there is an exception for all healthcare benefits that result from contracts negotiated with organized labor. there is no mention of any kind of tort reform.
    this fits nicely with contract law precedent being turned upside down in the car company bankruptcy. the unions were moved to first place among creditors instead of last place where they legally belong.
    the message: contribute to obama and you will be paid back 100-fold. kind of makes me feel sick.
